Comer Industries carries on its commitment in applied research, developing projects together with other enterprises and universities in the region to provide customers with increasingly advanced engineering systems and mechatronic solutions. These collaborations take place in the Reggio Emilia advanced mechatronic cluster that has unique specialization and know how in Italy.
The company, in partnership with universities, research centers and other enterprises, developed innovative projects, such as TM² and Pro-Tract. TM² is a transmission for horizontal feed mixers TM²  that improves machine functionality and safety; Pro-Tract is an electronic distributed control system for vehicles and machinery used in Comer Industries’ line of products.
The heart of applied research and innovation at Comer Industries is the Mechatronics Research Center in Reggiolo (Reggio Emilia), where the company develops and tests new products.
