Mechatronics
Research Center
Comer Industries advanced engineering systems are
developed, tested and launched at the Mechatronics Research Center
in Reggiolo (Reggio Emilia).
The laboratory, covering an area of 1,500 square meters, has 11
test rooms equipped with cutting edge simulators and testing instruments
that reproduce machine operating environments.
The Mechatronics Research Center allows Comer Industries to optimize
its products and reduce both prototyping lead-time and customer
time-to-market for new machines.
The Center activities include: approval tests for commercial components;
temperature tests under load; endurance, crash, field, functionality
and structural tests; as well as benchmarking.
The Mechatronics Research Center has been accepted onto the register
of public and private laboratories under the MIUR (Italian Ministry
of Education, Universities and Research). It is the first laboratory
working on mechatronics in Italy to be included in the ministerial
program that gives support for scientific and technological research
with the goal of creating a bridge between academic and industrial
research. |
