Comer Industries celebrated another important milestone: the opening of its new industrial hub in Rockford, Illinois, following the completion of an expansion and redevelopment project launched in 2023.
The new site marks a significant step in the Group’s development in the United States and, more broadly, in its international growth strategy. This strategy is rooted in a long-term vision that has led the Group to invest more than €540 million over the past five years to strengthen innovation, production capacity and its global presence.
With approximately 57,000 square metres of covered space, Rockford is now the main industrial hub of Comer Industries USA, Inc., the new company established to coordinate the Group’s operations in the United States.
President & CEO Matteo Storchi commented: “We chose to make a significant investment in this market to strengthen local production capacity and our proximity to customers. Our strategy is to be global in our presence and expertise, while becoming increasingly local in production and service.”
