Comer Industries and UniPR: students back in the classroom for the Mechanical Design Workshop

The Mechanical Design Workshop returns this year as well. Comer Industries engineers will be at the University of Parma to meet Mechanical Engineering students and share technical expertise related to the design of mechanical power transmissions.

During the workshops, the following topics will be covered:
• Sizing and calculation of gears, shafts and housings
• Hands-on session with the Kisssoft software
• Virtual validation and product development

The initiative is part of the course “Integrated Design and Virtual Development of Mechanical Products”, taught by Prof. Fabrizio Moroni. An opportunity for students to approach mechanical design using tools and methods applied in real engineering environments.
