ICE (Italian Agency for the promotion and the internationalization of Italian companies abroad) oversaw the preparation of theItalian pavilion of about500 square meters in Hall Ferdowsi, aneven more important presence than last year. In 2016, the event took place on a total area of 18,000 square meters and hosted about 10,000 visitors, with 202 exhibitors representing 340 companies from 13 countries.
Comer Industries exhibited at the fair together with itsIranian distributor Iran Mechatronic, in the Italian pavilioncoordinated by ICE – Agency and Federunacoma, the Italian Federation of Agri Machinery Manufacturers.
On show at the company booth were the D-27 speed increaser for atomizer, the MZ-1A and TL-290 gearboxes for tillers and a T-40 driveshaft. The MZ- 1A 4-speed transmission system as well as the solutions for atomizers on the booth attracted considerable interest.
Agriculture accounts for about 12% of Iran’s GDP, 15% of foreign currency revenues and occupies 20% of the active population. After removal of the international sanctions in March 2015, Iran is an extremely interesting market for the Italian technology both in terms of direct marketing of machines and components (mainly provided as original equipment to the Iranian manufacturers of agricultural machinery) and in the perspective of future industrial partnership agreements with local manufacturers ( Source: ICE / Federunacoma).
Comer Industries is strengthening itspresence in this market by working in cooperation with itsnew distributor Iran Mechatronic, recordingpositive feed backs by leading Iranian manufacturers of agricultural machinery.
