COMER INDUSTRIES SUCCESS STORY AT THE ITALIAN WORK SAFETY CONFERENCE IN MODENA

The seminar, the only one in Italy, aims to spread the management strategies of WCM, designed to increase company productivity and competitiveness, through successful case histories and confrontation with international companies.

Approximately 120 people attended the meeting, including executives, Health & Safety officers and professionals.

For Comer Industries, Claudio Bonini, Environment, Health & Safety – RSPP, participated as speaker at the convention, presenting the practical application of WCM in Comer Industries, with a focus on work safety and the main benefits & issues deriving from this approach. The reduction in the number of injuries and their severity in Comer Industries over the years and to date has been significant.

"We introduced the methodology of World Class Manufacturing in Comer Industries to boost our performances and assure our customers excellent products and services", said Bonini. "Through the application of WCM in our plants, we have standardized work methods, enhanced safety, reduced wastes and increased the involvement of our employees".
