EFQM RECOGNISED FOR EXCELLENCE 4 STAR LEVEL TO COMER INDUSTRIES

To promote innovation at all levels and to improve competitiveness, Comer Industries developed the Comer Business System, an organizational model inspired by EFQM principles for the management of change in all its main operating areas. From January 25th to 27th, 2017 Comer Industries has been evaluated by four EFQM assessors to check the company’s improvements in terms of markets, staff, suppliers and environment results after one year from the previous assessment.

The evaluation was carried out through interviews tocompany managementas well as to specific focus groups made by associates from all business areas. It resulted in a final report presented to the company Executive Board about Comer Industries’ strengths and improvement areas related to the EFQM model.

Comer Industries obtained the prestigious EFQM Recognised for Excellence 4 Star level (with a score between 450 and 500, close to the maximum of 5 stars, awarded by achieving more than 500), as well as the congratulations on thecareful and effective management based onprocess control andcontinuous improvement, implemented especially in manufacturing and global sourcing.
